I am investigating the role of the locus coeruleus in neurodegeneration and probing the feasibility of utilising 7T (f)MRI data to delineate this nucleus as a putative early marker of Alzheimer’s disease-related phenotypes. My project additionally evolves around the aspects of sleep and brain connectivity in both the healthy and the diseased brain by leveraging neuroimaging (fMRI, MRI, EEG) data, wearables and biological sample collection.
